9.9.2009 bottling
We worked hard for days on the harvest of 2009
Bokisch Verdelho and Phillips Farms Malvasia Nera, and then the
gods of harvest gave us a great gift—three or four days before
bottling, fruit simply stopped ripening. This allowed us to put
aside for a moment fruit to harvest and ferment, and, instead, prepare
the finished wines calmly and carefully. We filtered some; simply
racked and blended others. Everything went very well, all the way
up and through the final act. We even finished early.
This is what we bottled on September 9 and released a month afterwards.
You may still order these wines here.
